Summer Teen Lego/Lino Workshop

Give your teen something interesting and fun to do during the hazy crazy lazy summertime! The Lego/Lino Workshop at Reflex Letterpress has four printmaking projects for a nice dose of summer creativity.
What to Expect:
- Letterpress Lego Printing: Mounted Lego baseplates turn into the perfect springboard for creating pixel-based designs with square tiles or more free-form artistry with circles and curves.
- Linoleum Carving: The third day we go completely free-form with hand-drawn and -carved linoleum blocks.
- Two-Color Lino Carving: The second day continues what was made on the first by adding a second layer of color to our previous linoleum artwork.
- Free Day: The final project goes completely nuts by mixing and matching Lego and linoleum in a final project sure to surprise.
This workshop is geared for the basic beginner, so no experience is necessary to jump in and have a good time. Perfect for young artists, aspiring graphic designers, lovers of antique machinery, and those who like working with their hands.
